About
David is an experienced and determined lawyer. He works hard to provide his clients with an informed understanding of their legal rights and their practical implications. As an advocate, he zealously asserts his client’s position under the rules of the adversary system. Over 20 years, David acquired considerable trial experience and can effectively litigate a case before judge or jury, should the circumstances so demand. However, he understands most clients want to avoid a trial due to the associated risk, cost, and stress. Therefore, as a negotiator, David makes all reasonable efforts, maintaining the professional requirement of honest dealing, to obtain a settlement that is advantageous and fair. Finally, as an evaluator, David examines his client’s claims and provides honest and candid advice concerning the merits of the case. Independent judgment is an essential element of a lawyer’s relationship with a client.

David also serves as a part-time deputy prosecuting attorney for the Sixth Judicial District.
David is a life long resident of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is the product of the LRSD, graduating from Hall High in 1996. He attended Lyon College and graduated with honors in 2000 with a B.A. in Politics. David started law school immediately after college and earned his Juris Doctorate (law degree) from the Bowen School of Law and the University of Arkansas in 2003. He passed the bar exam soon after graduation and is a member of the Pulaski County, Arkansas, and American Bar Associations.
After law school, David served as a judicial law clerk for one year and then moved to private practice. He started his own law firm in 2014.
David has been married to his wife, Jill, for 20 years. He is a loving father of two talented and brilliant teenage daughters currently navigating the tempest of adolescence.
For several years, David has been listed as one of Arkansas's best attorneys by The Arkansas Times , The National Trial Lawyers Top 100, and several local publications. In 2014, his first year eligible, David received an "AV" rating by Martingale Hubble, a nationally recognized legal organization, the highest peer rating standard. This is given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers.
